The short version
There are no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising on this site. The cost calculator runs in your own browser, and what you choose in it is not sent to us.
The calculator and the calendar file
When you open the calculator, your browser downloads the same fee data for everyone. Your choices of state and business type stay on your device. The compliance calendar (.ics) file is built on your device too, and we never see it.
Server logs
Like almost every website, the server that hosts this one keeps a log of requests: the address requested, the time, your IP address and your browser type. The site is hosted with Namecheap. These logs are used to keep the site running and to spot abuse. They are not used to identify or profile visitors.
Fonts
The site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google when a page opens. Google receives your IP address and browser type as part of that request. Google's handling of it is covered by the Google privacy policy.
Links to other sites
Pages link to official state and city offices, and may link to filing or registered agent services. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies. If we add a partner link that pays us a commission, this page will be updated first to say so.
Advertising and analytics
There is no advertising or analytics on the site at the moment. If either is added, this page will be updated first to say who provides it and what cookies or similar technology it uses.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or share personal information.
- We do not build profiles of visitors.
- We do not send marketing email.
