Kansas LLC cost
Forming an LLC in Kansas costs $90 in state fees in year one, then about $55 a year to stay in good standing.
Forming a Kansas LLC
You file Articles of Organization (Form LAO) with the Kansas Secretary of State, Business Services Division. The state fee is $90. See the official fee.
Every year after
- Information Report (Form ILC): $110, filed every two years. Due: By April 15 every other year: entities formed in an even year file in even years, those formed in an odd year file in odd years. $90 online, $110 on paper.
- First one: April 15 of the second year after formation (the next year with the same even/odd parity as the formation year).

The registered office must be a Kansas street address; PO boxes are not accepted. You can serve as your own agent if you have a qualifying address; paid services usually charge a yearly fee.
